HOW IT WORKS

1. Register

Simply choose which divisions you want to compete in (based upon your age and rank). You can pay with any major debit or credit card, and students from any country in the world can enter.

If you hold rank in Ultimate Bo or another bo/weapons style (such as a style of Kobudo), enter with that rank. If you don't hold rank in a bo/weapons specific style, enter using your current core traditional martial arts style rank.

2. Film & Submit Video On Day of Event

On they day of the event, login to this site. You will film yourself (use a tripod or have a friend hold your phone) demonstrating your bo kata. This video will be submitted as your entry video for the World Championships.

3. Judging and Results

Our panel of judges will watch each submission and enter scores, along with comments. After all judges have scored your entry, you will be notified, and can see your exact score and ranking upon logging in. You can also watch all of your fellow competitors' submission videos and see their detailed score and comments. We will mail out the medals to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each division.

Rules

  • Before you begin your form (kata), bow, then state your name, your rank, your school's name, and the name of the form.
  • Your form must be a minimum of 30 seconds long.
